Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Picy marketplace. Please read them carefully. They form a binding agreement between you and Picy.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Picy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Picy. By registering, you represent that you are of legal age and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You may not create accounts for others without permission or in a way that violates our policies.
4. Marketplace services
Picy connects buyers and sellers of creative services and digital assets. Orders are processed through escrow: payments are held securely and released to sellers upon approved delivery. By placing an order, you agree to pay the stated amount and to complete project milestones through the platform.
5. Seller obligations
Sellers agree to accurately represent their services, skills, and work, to deliver milestones by agreed deadlines, and to provide high-quality work. Sellers retain ownership of their original work subject to the rights granted to buyers through the completed transaction as described within each gig.
6. Digital assets
Purchased presets, actions, LUTs, and other digital assets are licensed for personal and commercial use as described on the asset page. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of purchased digital files without permission is prohibited.
7. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed through our escrow system. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. Commissions may apply to transactions as described on our Pricing page and are disclosed before you complete a sale.
8. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Picy to post unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content; engage in off-platform transactions to bypass escrow protection; misrepresent your identity; harass others; or interfere with the platform's operation.
9. Intellectual property
The Picy name, logo, and platform content are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you post, and you grant us a limited license to display and host it to operate the service.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Picy is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Picy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
11. Dispute resolution
Disputes between buyers and sellers are resolved through our dispute resolution process, with escrow funds held until a resolution is reached. Any disputes with Picy shall be governed by Indian law and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, pending escrow transactions are resolved according to our policies, and you may lose access to platform features.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
